The NFI Brattleboro Community Alternatives Program (BCAP) program is an intensive Wraparound for children and families living in the Southern Vermont region. BCAP offers a coordinated system of community based mental health services to help children and their families increase success at home, at school and in the community. The key elements of the program are intensive individualized Case Management, Community Skills Training, Medication assessment and management, support services for our Treatment Foster Care families, and respite services. The program also offers a 24-hour crisis response to support children and parents after regular hours.

The program accepts referrals from, and works closely with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and the local community mental health center- Healthcare and Rehabilitative Services (HCRS). The program currently serves children in the Brattleboro, Springfield, and surrounding areas.
