NFI Vermont operates 4 trauma-informed day treatment schools in Lamoille county and the Northeast Kingdom.
Our schools aim to create safe, therapeutic, consistent and structured learning environments. Students learn the social, emotional and behavioral skills needed in order for them to access their education. All of the NFI schools provide tailored instruction, in order to support the individual developmental, academic and social needs of each student. In addition, therapeutic services including family outreach and engagement; individual and group counseling; community activities and coordinated case management services are provided to all students and their families. We strive to provide the necessary supports in academic and behavioral domains so students can graduate or return to their sending school.
NFI Schools do not discriminate on race, religion, age, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or marital status in their governance, education, admissions, or employment policies.
