Mission:
To exercise safety, respect, and responsibility in and out of the home, while developing independent living skills, gaining vocational experience, and successfully integrating within the community.
The Village House offers a “bridge” for residents as they transition to adulthood. The focus is to increase independent living skills and offer experience in independence through supportive education, mentoring, community integration, and self-determination. Special attention is given to building residents confidence and functionality, teaching independent living skills and supporting increased knowledge of local resources and systems that serve adults.
