Complaints, Grievances, and Appeals Procedure
Program participants are encouraged to share concerns or feedback with staff during the course of treatment. Basic steps for the Complaint, Grievance and Appeal procedure are posted at all of our NFI sites. More detailed information about the process is found in the Program Participant & Agency Handbook. The handbook can be downloaded here.
Complaints, Grievances, and Appeals are reviewed in a timely manner. Program participants are included in creating an action plan to help resolve the issue. Resolution to the Complaint, Grievance or Appeal will vary if issue requires community or State involvement.
In accordance with Vermont law, individuals will be free from any form of retaliation.
