Educational Services

NFI operates five trauma informed, day treatment schools throughout the state that aim to create safe, therapeutic, consistent and structured learning environments where students learn the social, emotional and behavioral skills needed in order for them to access their education. All of our schools provide differentiated instruction in order to support the diverse developmental, academic and social needs of the students. In addition, therapeutic services including family outreach and engagement; individual and group counseling; community activities and coordinated case management services are provided to all students and their families. We strive to provide the necessary supports in academic and behavioral domains so students can graduate either, depending at what age they start at an NFI schools, with us or their sending public school.
